“Asia Pacific Dyslexia Forum 2020” to be held in May 2021, extended due to COVID-19 and reinforced to meet the situation
You can attend either in person at the venue in Okayama or via online (live and archive)
Attractive programs such as Inclusive Education in AP, exchange of Young people with dyslexia, support to dyslexia, E digital exhibition of abilities of people with dyslexia and many other topics

Useful information on inclusive education in Japan especially Okayama. Young brave students will talk about their experience on reasonable accommodations, New information on education, work place and medical field. Experiencing booth of assistive technologies, with workshops such as TRPG (Table role playing game).

The focus two days intensive Forum is on the target 4 Quality education for all of SDGs. For the common solution for people with dyslexia facing difficulties in reading and writing difficulties. What can we do beyond the diversity of languages, orthography, culture and history maximizing the potential of people with dyslexia?

■Protocol for COVID-19

Seating capacity: up to 50% of the original capacity 350 vs 720

Participants at the venue are asked to

・refrain from attending if you have fever of over 37.5 degrees or feeling ill

・wear ask at anytime

・disinfect your hands and finger with alcohol

・refrain from talking out loud

・bring your own writing materials

The venue and organizers will

・layout the seats with adequate distance

・disinfect doorknobs and tables

・put partition at the reception and on the stage

・have thermometer at the entrance

・circulate air in the hall 4.7 times an hour


■■Measures to fight spread of COVID-19■■
Participants are asked to keep following rules

- Refrain from attending the Forum if you are not feeling well or you have fever of above 37.5 degrees centigrade
- Wear a musk at any time
- Sterilize your hands and fingers at the entrance
- Refrain from talking loudly
- Bring their own writing utensils

The venue will keep following rules
- Keep distance between the seats
- Sterilize tables and nobs
- Install partitions at the reception and on the stage
- Thermographs at the entrance
- Ventilation system of 4.7 times per hour in the hall
